The Worcestershire Arts Trail was launched in syle with some not to shabby pomp and ceremony at the Worcestershire Arts Workshop on Friday 25th Amy. In attendance were many of the participating artists who will be opening their studio doors to the public this coming bank holiday weekend. Along with local dignitaries the Mayor of Malvern Councillor Ian Hopwood and the leader of the Worcestershire County Council and their respective partners.
Delicious Mexican food and drink were prepared by the talented kitchen staff from Cafe Bliss at the Worcester Arts Workshop run by Amanda Hickling and Eloina Bliss. Also on hand was Kate Cox artistic director at Worcester Arts Workshop to facilitate the smooth running of the evening. The evening gave artists a chance to meet each other and exchange ideas about the arts trail. Speeches were made, wine was drank, food was eaten and much mingling and chatting was done, all in all a resounding success said Arts Trail co-ordinator Sarah Jones.
